THE ARTIST

Trained by Japanese master artists in Tokyo, TOSCANE built and refined her artistic DNA in Japan. Returning to the land that inspires her, TOSCANE has settled in the Miyagi region to reconnect with the vibrant pigments that define her work.

Projects and encounters...

Hardly had she set foot in Japan before TOSCANE drew attention, soon welcomed into FAF (Future Art Frontiers), a collective devoted to cultivating the region’s most gifted emerging artists. Within this sphere she distinguished herself time and again, winning every competition she entered. Among these honors, she was entrusted with designing the label of the celebrated Tokubetsu Junmai Yamatoden sake from the esteemed ICHINOKURA brewery. She was also commissioned by SUNVENDING, a major name in the vending industry, to transform its machines into painted landmarks that bring art into the everyday.

Symbolism and poetry of TOSCANE's work

A perfectionist at heart, the artist continues to refine her craft under the guidance of Japanese masters. Since June 2025, TOSCANE has been traveling regularly to Tokyo to undertake a meticulous study of the motifs and symbolism intrinsic to traditional Japanese tattooing—so as to inscribe Mona’s skin with both authenticity and mastery.
